Heart’s Desire has screened at several UK and international film festivals, including the Romford Film Festival, Kermode & Mayo’s Bay Film Festival, with plans for an online release in late 2025. Notably it was nominated for Best Short Film in the 2024 #storiesinmotion competition hosted by CVP and Canon.
The film leans heavily on its tone and atmosphere, driven in large part by Elijah David Djan’s original score that breathes life into the story’s most intimate moments.

“Approaching this film was an exhilarating experience for me. I drew inspiration from legendary 80s sci-fi scores like Tron and Star Wars, seamlessly blending orchestral harmonies with a mechanical sound palette. I aimed to create a nuanced intensity that perfectly complements the on-screen action.”
